We recently completed a vinyl fence installation in Mission Hills, Omaha, and this project presented some real-world challenges that our crew handled with precision. The homeowner chose a semi-privacy fence with a scallop design and gothic post caps, giving the property a distinctive look that balances openness with boundary definition. The 6-foot vinyl fence spans 157 linear feet around the property.
What made this job interesting was the sloped terrain. Installing a fence on uneven ground requires careful planning and technique to ensure posts are plumb and panels sit properly despite grade changes. Our team removed the old fence first, then worked methodically to set the new vinyl posts and panels in a way that follows the natural slope while maintaining the fence’s structural integrity and visual appeal.
Vinyl is a smart choice for Omaha properties because it stands up to our weather year-round without the maintenance that wood demands. No staining, no rot, no seasonal upkeep. The gothic caps add a finished, intentional detail that elevates the entire appearance of the fence line.
