We recently completed a semi-privacy wood fence in the Leawood Southwest neighborhood of Omaha. This project presented a real challenge: the yard slopes significantly, with multiple grade changes across the property. Rather than fighting the terrain, we built the fence to follow the natural slope, which keeps the installation solid and the look clean.
The 4-foot fence spans 131 linear feet and features cedar dog ear pickets mounted on black steel posts. This combination gives the fence both durability and a refined appearance. Part of the fence was installed behind an existing retaining wall, which required careful planning to ensure proper alignment and spacing.
We also added two walk gates to the fence line, giving the homeowners convenient access across their property. The sloped installation and gate placement were worked out during planning to match the yard’s natural contours.
If you have a sloped yard or a property with grade changes and you’re thinking about a fence, we know how to handle it. Reach out for a quote and let’s discuss your project.
